Jerel has been preaching and teaching for more than 25 years and Pastors the Abundant Life Deliverance Ministries with her husband Dr. Walter C. Cloud, Jr., and children in Middletown, CT. In addition to being a wife and mother, Jerel is a proud mother-in-love, and a doting grandmother of three.

​During counseling sessions with her Pastor, she came to discover the true knowledge of Ministry and its level of commitment, along with what seemed to have been an unrealistic and impossible way of life. Therefore, instead of yielding to the call she became overwhelmed with doubt and fear never believing she could ever measure up to their standards of expectation, so she walked away from the church, completely! After several years of struggling to maintain her Godly relationship, while juggling to fit into anywhere but the church, she succumbs to the pressure, surrenders to God, and concede that she was ready. Recognizing her sincerity and willingness to yield her life to God and Ministry, in that very moment, Pastor prayed that God would bring total deliverance, remove the distractions, and allow His “perfect will” for her life to be DONE and all else be “shut down”. Shortly thereafter the location where she bartended, closed, and never re-opened or became a bar of any sort again! That location is now a CHURCH!

Jerel serves as a motivator and advocates for all. However, her deepest passion is directed towards women, especially those whose experiences parallels her past. She is consistently willing to embrace, uplift, support and inspire individuals to pursue a fulfilling life. She is a No-nonsense Woman of God, who personifies virtue, grace, and elegance. Despite her modest demeanor, she exhibits great boldness in the Holy Spirit preaching prophetically under a profound anointing. Deeply devoted to the Word of Truth and its practical application. She is a true Midwife in the Kingdom of God and without fail she will push you into your divine purpose, by using her personal struggles to empower others to overcome their adversities. Believing that, what God has placed inside of you was meant to be Birthed not Aborted. From the moment she embarked on her ministry journey, opportunities have surged, reaching both local and distant audiences, including virtual services.

Jerel is the Visionaire of the S.E.W., Inc. Encounter our motto is “Connecting Women ONE Stitch at a Time” It takes place in Connecticut and various locations across the United States. She is a Certified Life Coach and has founded Shattering Cycles Coaching Services International and Excuse Me, Class is in Session Masterclass. The acclaimed Author of “Excuse Me, While I Change My Clothes” published by Trilogy of TBN! Jerel has achieved the pinnacle of academic excellence, earning her Ph.D. in Theology in 2024.

Jerel is the recipient of the Women Supporting Women “Phenomenal Women Award” which Honors Lady Pastors based out of Williamsburg, VA, Black People Rock, Virtuous Woman Award, 100 Women of Color, in addition to various awards from local assemblies.
